His role to remain is to Lead. His remaining makes a very powerful statement to the commitment to the state of Sinaloa. His visibility and his leadership will be very much appreciated. And no he doesn’t have to go into the field with a weapon of his own. That’s tactical leadership, his is strategic leadership: there will choices to make, some difficult, it will be up to him and the consequences of the choices are on his shoulders and by inference on the President. I applaud the move

I agree. Sociopathy against the State begs extermination. Cartels cannot be eliminated but they certainly can be controlled. No Haiti or Lebanon for Mexico.

I don’t understand the purpose for Harfuch to stay and oversee the security operations in the state. Unless he is a skilled mercenary highly trained in killing, or John Wick, he is simply another target. I would assume having your security minister in his office would accomplish the same thing he will be able to do in Sinaloa. Evacuate the citizens and go “scorched earth” on the cartels. They have no regard for any human life in their path. They do not deserve grace.
