Remember over 70% of the guns the cartels have are purchased in the United States & easily driven across the border. There is only one legal gun shop in Mexico and extensive background checks are necessary for a citizen to purchase from this one gun dealer. Additionally, the consumption of synthetic drugs cannot be stopped in the USA. Actually, I doubt if they really want to stop it since big Pharma is such a big political donor. The problem is in the USA, but they don’t want to face it. It’s easy to blame Mexico. Why do they consume so little synthetic drugs in Mexico compared to the US?
