Unfortunately, the ’23 & ’24 campaigns weren’t his best, Sergio has proven he deserved to have a seat in F1. Incredibly fun to watch coming up. Number 2 driver at RB is a terrible place to be. They certainly didn’t have equal cars or upgrades, and knowing your not a priority while having to endure all the pressure and ridicule takes a special person. I believe RB have made a mistake, not with this decision, but with their choice of replacement in Lawson – but time will tell. Best of luck Checo.
