No nation has benefitted long term from allowing the Chinese to grow their influence. The Chinese destroy free markets with criminal and corrupt trade practices. The world is now very aware of the dangers of accepting Chinese “investment capital” that is a terrible deal for the debtor nations. There is also the criminal element that is a part of Chinese economic culture that imports illegal and deadly narcotics into other nations, conducts sex trafficking, and seeks to influence domestic elections and national policy in other nations. Furthermore, there are the arms sales by the Chinese to destabilizing elements of foreign governments who the Chinese want to depose. China is possibly the world’s largest, and most serious problem as a threat to economic well-being, stability, and world peace. All nations must seek to reject China’s presence in their economy, and China’s attempt to influence other national governments.
