Worse is the impetus seemingly pushed by your newspaper to allow/praise foreign investment. Foreign investment should never be allowed to own the means of vital production or to own any land..

To me this points out a general need in the area for regulation and urban planning as mentioned in the article. Paying immigrant employees in cash or without also providing benefits is obviously unfair and could be addressed to everyone’s benefit and satisfaction. Neoliberalism is not appreciated in Mexico, OK do t allow this kind to take root but don’t overplay the problem with a Chinese stereotype. That would also be unfair. MND this last comment is aimed at the well-meaning letter writers, not your article

I’m sure Mexicans would love paying double and never being able to afford electric vehicles. Mexico is too smart for this xenophobic trash but keep tryin MND, I’m sure it pays well

The US finally figured it out but it took almost 30 years and now it’s Mexico turn. Although I would have to say the stakes are a bit higher for Mexico for China is moving into higher stakes and more important industries like the auto industry. In a few short years the Chinese are quickly penetrating the auto market. I’ve rented a few Chinese made cars in Mexico and and they truly are horribly made but they are cheap. It’s a dangerous path to go down and not sure the the Mexican government will deal with the danger but it better wake up.

This is a well used plan by a society skilled at sucking the life out of any market that allows them to game any system. Stop allowing this now, as it is on the verge of no return already. These people are parasites and add nothing to the society they kill…..

The Chinese have been using the same tactics in US. The US government finally paid attention when the Chinese tried to buy a port in New York City. I am very disappointed in how the Chinese market disrupts folks who make beautiful items for purchase. It is hard to find real fabrics for scarfs, blankets, coats. etc.
