Hahaha oh man, there are a lot of menudo fans out there, which is something that I’d never guess.

The first time I had it, I didn’t realize what it was…it just seemed like a kind of hearty soup. I remember having to spit it out! The flavor, the texture…man, oh man.

I’d rather suffer from a year-long hangover than eat it, lol!

Menudo …How easy it it to order in ?
Or, make it in advance?: 3 pounds of clean tripe, (stomach lining of pigs or cows)
1 cow’s feet , 1 pound marrow bones plus garlic and spices and simmer for 2-3 hours.
Frankly: yuck.
I’ll bet most Mexicans drink a quart or 2 of Pepsi.

The greatest hangover remedy is Menudo of course! If your crudo, make it Menudo. The more pata the better. and plenty of tripe. Pure protein! Lot’s of chili, plenty of crushed oregano, cilantro, limón. Not too much hominy or it will lake you sleepy.

Perhaps it’s more Tex-Mex, but menudo is the ultimate cure for a hangover.
It works even better if you have some before bed or passing out.
