When designed and constructed properly these crossings work. With such a small budget, I question how seriously this was thought out. Thankfully it is a start. We need to preserve as many species we can to maintain balance in our ecosystems.

When I moved to Mexico , I first lived in the Yucatan. I have spent time in Chiapas and Quinatana Roo. I was , and still am, opposed to these Mayan trains. I anticipated that the tracks, trains, stations, and tourism would trample the Mayan culture, the rare wildlife and their environment. I pray I am wrong.
